I'm a Visual Artist

An emerging Artist.

In Montreal, Canada, I attended St. Monica elementary school, and discovered hand drawing.  I was fascinated with birds and dinosaurs., and especially Saturday morning cartoons.  My family and I travelled to Europe to meet our relatives and discovered our European ancestry.  I admired French, Dutch, and Belgian paintings as well as drawings that my parents instilled in me.  Occasionally I would escape into my world of imagination and read the many adventures of Hergé.

In Canada I was inclined to develop my drawing skills much later on in life and primarily before college.  A portfolio was required to enter Dawson College, and thereafter I was accepted in the Creative Arts program.  Well situated in Montreal, and in the province of Quebec, despite the harsh winter climate, I decided to work as a Shoe salesman at Eaton's and study art.

At Dawson College , I became fascinated with drawing techniques, film courses, as well as photography.  I went on to enroll in Film Studies at Concordia University.  There, I learned to study Film theory and the history of film.  This would bring me toward the structure of film analysis, as well as develop my drawing techniques in the Fine Arts department.  In 1999, I graduated with a B.F.A. Bachelor's degree in fine Arts.

Later, I discovered digital photography and digital art.  Today, I still continue to draw 2D and 3D drawings.  Photography is also a passion of mine.  As you can see, I am an emerging artist, and continue to find new ideas, and appropriate art from other artists and make it my own.
